I find it disturbing that we are putting junk on the moon. We landed on it once. Can't we just go there and take samples to find out if there is water??

Yes we could but to send men it would cost many billions as opposed to crashing an old non functional satellite on the cheap. This mission will dictate how plans are made to explore all aspects of space from now on ... whether or not we find water. |

should we spend it on something a little more important? like heath insurance!?!?!?! uhmmm, 79 million dollars... 300 million people... we could give every american $2.63 for some healthcare... Two dollars and sixty three cents does not buy much healthcare...

The Maltese have a saying for everything, so I am informed. The Native American Indian believed that the earth could not be owned by anyone, it belonged to all. The airwaves are already owned by multi national corporations. Much of Antarctica is owned by oil cartels. Most women already believe that they own the stars and the moon,and if they do not already do so then it has been promised to them, so The American corporate officers had better watch out. |

Listen folks. Water is the most valuable substance in the universe. If we find water this means we can produce oxygen. This means we can produce food. This means self sustaining habitats.
