I am going to be writing and painting and teaching and learning I am going to giggle like a schoolgirl with a glint in my eyes and mischief in my smile I am going to be sassy and irreverent I am going to eat dessert first In the youth, I will encourage the building of mini-Rolo sculptures, Skittles pictures and colouring outside of the lines I am going to dance with abandon I am going to be a light in someone's world

Ya know if ya really think about it why are ya gonna wait till your 80 to do those things? Do them now all the way up till your 80 enjoy the moments you have.
Use the good silverware every day... Wear your favorite perfume.... Wear that party dress if only going to out to eat during the week... Use the good china enjoy it yourself it will mean more to the kids later to know you enjoyed those things before they are passed down..... Go dancing and act crazy............ Call your friends when they least expect it and just say I was thinking about you...... Get all dolled up and just sit on the porch and watch the sunset or sunrise....... Call family and friends just to say I Love You.............. Penny pinch and take that vacation you have always wanted to take....... Be adventurous and go do those things you always dreamed of doing........ You only live life once live it to the fullest......... Set goals of things you have always wanted to do and make them happen now while you can enjoy life..... Never put off till your 80 what you desire today..............

When I'm eighty, I am going to wear purple hats with a rose on it. Dress in loud colours when I feel like it and probably only things that are comfortable. Occassionally giving others the coat off my back. When I am eighty I am going to buy highheels and wear them only when I get to sit down most of the time and fancy affairs. The rest of the time give me a t-shirt and jeans and let me play in the dirt and sawdust. When I am eighty I am going to pay someone to paint my house, a garden that is a rainbow, play loud music and dance in my flip flops at the fair. When I am eighty I am going to eat cake for breakfast, wash it down with Dr.Pepper, and leave the dishes in the sink to wash them before bed along with the other dishes I whipped something up in. When I am eighty I am going to flirt with the tradesmen, pay my own bills, and hopefully still contribute to the world. Come to think of it the same things I pretty much do now. What are you going to do when you are eighty? |

She still makes handmade quilts She plants her own garden Cans all of her veggies Cross stitches and crochets Walks into town and to the mall She is very active on the internet And each year, she and her sister go to The Smokey Mountains to hike
