Some people like everything neat and tidy, everything square and orderly...and all their little ducks in an exact equidistance apart... and some of us are so random, with rapidfire synapses, who can flit between associations, that the thread can meander through all sorts of subjects. Anal retentive is not my thing....I like diversity.

Do you get when a thread gets totaly ? be seeing you it depends on how serious the topic is to begin with. i don't mind the odd off-topic post here and there but when you have to sift through pages and pages of personal conversation, it gets tiresome.

I agree with papersmile at times it does get very annoying when some just randomly go into the threads with never anything to say but to make fun of it and pop off stuff that makes no sense at all.. And their whole purpose is just to highjack the thread.. Now from time to time all threads are going to go off topic and I do expect that what gets me is when some get in the thread and go 2-4 pages totally off the topic and never get back too it. A few post here and there is a given...
