Thank you. Ya'll = Ya will Y'all = You all I've never heard anybody say, "Ya will" before. That's exactly my point. It's all in where the apostrophe is placed, which can completely change the meaning of the contraction. |

It's all in where the apostrophe is placed, which can completely change the meaning of the contraction. I still don't see how that becomes "ya will" or even "you will" The apostrophe has always been interchangeable, depending on how one was raised spelling it. I type ya'll, and others I know type y'all. We both mean the same thing. |

in Texas its spelled ya'll and pronounced "yaw" unless your including everyone in the crowd and then it becomes "alla" for example "alla yaw can kiss my intar ayuss" and then in singular it just becomes you. as in "Screw you, we're from Texas" |

I wonder how your animals understand yall??? I bet they have an accent too!!! Sadly, Gaea, my Patagonian Conure (South America) in this Texas household, has a Bronx accent. Still haven't figured that one out. "Hi how o-are ya?" Strange bird... Shakes head. |
