Do you enjoy Life or is it a burden? What have you done fun lately? I'm supposed to be studying and so on, instead I end up on mingle or in my garage. Now I'm thinking about repainting my cycle and fixing my car...none of these I should be concentrating on, but I don't care.

I dont do anything for fun except play around online and read or watch tv shows or occasionally drink a little bit
You really need to get out more.
 school,work,home. Im used to boredom
YOU ARE IN A RUT. I worked at a job for two years and every day was exactly the same. After two years I looked back for memories. I only had ONE DAY OF MEMORIES. Why? BECAUSE EVERY DAY WAS THE SAME. We MUST strive to live more varied and exciting lives in order to monitor our mental machinery. Create some memories. Take pictures and notes. If you don't, when you get old you will look back and see your life as ONE DAY. MAKE SOME MEMORIES. CREATE THEM. DESIGN YOUR LIFE in such a way that you will have something to remember. That is advice I myself need to take.

Do you enjoy Life or is it a burden? What have you done fun lately? Every day that my eyes open, and a breath is drawn, is a moment for celebration, and an opportunity to BE life. What have I done that is fun lately? I ran away from home, and hitch hiked down the coast, and played with a mob of friends for four days, then hitch hiked home again. Last evening, the kids and I went down to the beach on low tide, did cartwheels, ran races, climbed trees, played in the foam stirred up by the ocean...had a foam fight...chased the dog into the waves, cause she had rolled in something stinky...laughed, gasped with unfit exertion....quietly admired these extraordinary people who call me Mum... Had pizza and milkshakes at the local cafe for dinner, under the stars, with some dear and loving friends joining us. Climbed up on the roof and admired what's left of the ocean view...(the trees have decided to get bigger)...cleaned the gutters, and got to peek into the nest of some local birds, at their babies, this morning.. Played my djembe in accompaniment to a stirring rendition of afrikan tribal music...for the benefit of myself and my neighbours over my morning coffee.... danced around the kitchen shaking my tail feathers to some wild salsa music. My life IS fun!

The animated feature "Shrek" (mainly the first one, when he met Fiona), is such an excellent example of this very topic.
Shrek lived in a swamp, in his tiny, little shack. He actually thought he was content...and, maybe he WAS. Until... ...MEETING FIONA SHOWED HIM THERE IS SO MUCH MORE! I've lived in the same state all my life. Now, here at almost 50 (ouch!), I wonder what might have happened had I moved somewhere else early in life, to surround myself with a different kind of people, who had a different way of thinking. Just how much would it have changed me? For better, or for worse? I met someone not long ago who lives, I believe, in a paradise. I wonder what it might have been like to live there. We here in the south tend to live not very far from our other relatives. The concept of hopping on a plane once a year to be with relatives thousands of miles away for Christmas seems very odd to us. There are many advantages to that, yet there is also a steep price to pay. |

Had two books published last year; the first is a humorous sci-fi novel, the second is a collection of short stories and poems. Some of the short stories tie into the first book. (Cover pics are in my profile.) My third book is finished and is just waiting for the cover to be completed. I'm planning seven in the series, and have started two unrelated projects for later.... |

Yes my life is fun.
I enjoy it. I changed my mini on my favorite game site this morning to have a Halloween outfit.. now I am an angel.

Not particularly, just a rinse, wash, repeat cycle. Most day to day things are typical and just about everything I expect, don't much appreciate humanity anymore...
