We all have alot on our plates. I just figured that I needed to come to grips with it before I told anyone. Plenty of drama around without me crapping in the punch bowl. She will so understand all your reasoning. You make perfect sense. She's not going to be upset w/ you, she's not like that. She'll be deeply shocked and absolutely grief~stricken for you. Think we all are on that count ...

Don't get me wrong. My feelings haven't changed. Do I still love her. Yep....can't really do anything about that one. But, I can't just dwell on loving someone who will settle for less than the real thing.....and knows it

But......yeah even heal within time. Will you ever forget it no but to learn to move on is the main thing.....
It takes a big man to admit something like this and a bigger one to forgive and move on.....which I know in time you can and will do... You have a lot of friends here that are within your real life as well and will be at your side along the way..... As far as your family sure they will be upset but more so cause she hurt you. You have a close family and they will be there for you as well..... 
Just keep your head high take the time you need and you will move on when it is time.....
