Everywhere I have went today the customer service was lousy. I went to the library asked for help in finding something after I tried on my own. The librarian was mad because she had to get off the internet. I'm thinking, WTF is your problem, that's what they pay you for.
I went to the store, and something I picked up would not register in the computer so someone had to go find the correct price. They had an attitude about that. At the docs office, the nurses no longer make appts. for referrals. When you do it on your own the referral docs receptionist asks why didn't your doc call us. I say, That's a good question. But I can't answer that. The only place that the customer service was decent was the gas station. The clerk was very nice and polite. I seems I lucked out. My question is have you noticed the decline in courteous customer service? |

It has been on the decline for years. I can't stand calling for help or to make an appointment and getting a recording and having to listen to a list of numbers to press.

I can definitely relate to that. I just froze, and even asked was this a live person |

As I say to my son: "Patience is a virtue" people seem to have NONE these days...even if it's their job! I haven't run into ANY patient people as of late... I hate going anywhere were I have to deal with people one on one.. it takes a lot of restraint not to go off on them, although I have been known to do that when they take it too far... |

And if you do get through to a "live " person they can barely speak English and are almost impossible to understand. So you aren't any further along anyway

i agree, its a total shock when i have a positive customer service experience (and it doesnt happen often at all), i often wonder if i should compliment them on that, but i think it just means they are actually doing their job???

And if you do get through to a "live " person they can barely speak English and are almost impossible to understand. So you aren't any further along anyway With all the outsourcing companies are doing these days, it's hard to have patience when speaking with someone from a foreign country that has such a poor command of the English language. Who made the brilliant decision to have these ppl doing phone work? |

And if you do get through to a "live " person they can barely speak English and are almost impossible to understand. So you aren't any further along anyway I found that out the hard way. When I did get a hold of someone that could speak English that was borderline understandable. I was told to ask for the customer service agent in the U.S. I said are you serious, I am calling from the U.S., why the hell did you transfer my call to Bangladesh. No response. I wonder why? |
