AB, it's not the government that makes money from tabacco products, it
the parmaceutical companies, the doctors, the hospitals, the insurance companies. How much money is spent by pharmaceutical companies to enforce / lobby for laws that they want 'ignored' or voted for? They are one of the lagest monetary suppliers of "for sale votes" within our legislature. Why, because they sell the products that fight the cause of major diseases - tobacco. Stop tobacco, stop the disease, and the pharmeceutical companies have little pay off funds left. |

everyone should be given a free HYDROGEN car .QUIT the stupididity of
the arms race and bingo you can doit standing on your heads easy peezy HOW MUCH MONEY does your nation spend a year to fund the stupidity of the machines of war and destruction.CORPORATE AUTOCRATES ARE EVIL. |

Ok, I read on effects of water vapor as a greenhouse gas. While making
up the majority 36%-70%, water vapor stays close to the surface and through natural evaporation and condensation only has a lifespan of 2 or 3 days. Natural evaporation and condensation means it gets absorbed into the atmosphere. Natural processes don't use magic to make thing disapear. When you make rock candy you take sugar and melt it in water. The sugar crystals 'condense' into the water they don't disapear. In order to get enough into the water to make it crystalize into its 'candy' phase you must increas the heat to absorb more sugar cystals into the water (called supersaturation) then when you cool the water down they sugar crystals reatach and form larger crystals. Water vapor has the effect of generating more heat the more you put into a closed system. All those other gasses are dangerous but not to the warming of the earth directly they damage the ozone layer which allows more Ultra Violet into the system. Ultra Violet radiation can cause mutations in RNA and DNA and can cause cancer. |

Ive looked for a price on one of them Hydrogen cars, and I cant find it.
Do you know what it cost, if you do Im interested. I just cant find it! And then do they make everyone run out and buy a new car now? NO! so who said they would for a Hydrogen car? I dont see that in this thread either. Eventually 4 or 10 yrs. you will have to buy a car anyway, and by then there will be used Hydrogen cars. Until one day natural attrition will make the gas guzzling air polluting vehicles a thing of the past!! Sometimes I wonder, Ill tell you what!!! |

Fanta, wasn't it you that said you posted this to try to get some
involved in what political issues were being discussed. I was simply wonder why tobacco was not being addressed? No matter, I posted your idea all by itself on another topic. So I wont bother your energy idea, I'm not worthy. I'm a dyke, love power tools, I'd be happy to see how a worthy fuel alternative vehicle will work. So I'll just be content to read and learn. Thanks to all you intelligent types. |

GET RID OF THE WAR MACHINE GIVE EVERYONE GIVE GIVE GIVE EVERYONE YES
GIVE EVERYONE HYDROGEN POWERED CARS MONEY IS UNIMPORTANT IF YOU THINK IT IS WERE fuked. |

I read it again ad and it says that the increased water vapor in turn
leads to an increase in the greenhouse effect and thus a further increase in temperature; the increase in temperature leads to still further increase in atmospheric water vapor; and the feedback cycle continues until equilibrium is reached. Thus water vapor acts as a positive feedback to the forcing provided by human-released greenhouse gases such as CO2 equilibrium means it eventually levels out. water vapor acts as a positive feedback to the forcing, means it actually increases the effects of global warming created by the other gasses, which cant be good, but alone water vapor is not that damaging. The other gasses have a devestating effect on global warming that lasts for generations, with GWP indexes out the roof! Its possible Ad that I could be misunderstanding it, but I dont think I am.. Redy I didnt attack you!! I just couldnt fiqure out where that tobacco was related!! OOPS!!! Chill hun, I dont care what your sexual prefrence is. |

hmmmmmmm
MAKE companies start making hybrids or fine them? think theyd just say, screw it we'll make erasers instead of cars. in a free market society how can you say, like a communist, you must do this o that for the state, the state knows better than the individuals- what a slippery slope some of you want to be on. no thanks stick to my gas guzzling automobile. turning on all my lights simply because i can, and lets not fail to mention the 45 minute showers and why because i can. i like to live my life the way i want to live my life, if you dont like it well to "F'n" bad, its america and i can do what i want, oh and by the freaking way i think i deserve it. go write a self help book talking about how a parent cant raise a kid, it takes a community or village to do it....crap. all of it. |

Fanta the problem with the model is that 'equilibrium' only takes into
account the water vapor that is present in the system (oceans, glaciers, rivers and lakes). If you add water into the system by 'burning' hydrogen and oxygen you will change the equation. Equilibrium then comes at a higher tempreture. At some point the tempreture will become higher than life can handle at the surface of the planet. Added to this problem is the effect of increased ultraviolet radiation due to depletion of the ozone and at the same time less cloud formation because the comisic radiation is pushed away from the earth by increased solar wind. This allows more sunlight to enter the system which the water vapor then traps in the system. |

But not about the part of learning. You are all great teachers. thanks! |

Let's see....a tank of water with a line allowing the water to flow into
another tank where the water is broken down (oxygen and hydrogen is separated)and the o and h is pumped into a fuel cell where they recombine (hydrogen is burned), producing electricity and water. The electricity runs my car and the exhaust (water) is routed back to the tank from whence it came. Amazing, huh? Seriously, we could all be driving vichicles powered by alternative fuels today. It will take years for the transition, however, because if all or most of us quit buying gasoline tomorrow or year after next....it would ruin the economy. Remember, slick Willie said 'it'a the economy, stupid'. |

Look on the first page jeb, next year Honda, Chevy, and BMW has one too.
The Chevy has surpassed 300 miles on a full tank!!! Is thet right? How would you say that? |

Heres to Fanta...for all the energy he has used up in this
thread...LOL how ya doing bud? |
|

|
AB, I uderstand what you are saying and I will look into it myself. I
would like to think that the engineers have taken this into consideration. We'll see |
