Look, the team was 0-16 last year. They need all the support they can get. Jump on the bandwagon with me!

It's no secret that I've always been a lifelong Packers fan. On the other hand, I've never had a problem with the Lions. They're a hard-working team, they do their best. They've just had terrible misfortune for many years, probably (most likely) due to inadequate coaching. It's not like they don't try, because they certainly do. Personally, I would much rather see the Lions in second place in the NFC North division than the Bears or the Vikings, but sadly I don't see that happening.

Millen isn't there to screw up the draft anymore, and it looks like Shwartz is going to be a pretty good coach. They made some very good picks in the draft and filled a couple of holes. Another good draft, and they are going to be much improved. I think they will win 3 or 4 games this season.

I HAVE LIVED IN AND AROUND DETROIT MY WHOLE LIFE. I HAVE SEEN THE WINGS WIN 4 CUPS, THE PISTONS 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS, AND THE TIGERS WIN THE WORLD SERIES TWICE.THE DETROIT LIONS WILL NEVER WIN THE SUPER BOWL FOR AS LONG AS THE FORD FAMILY OWNES THEM. HERES A LITTLE STORY ABOUT THE LIONS. ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO I WAS SHOPPING WITH MY SON AT SEARS. THE FOOTBALL SEASON WAS OVER AND ALL THE LIONS JERSEYS WERE LIKE 50 PERCENT OFF. I TURNED TO MY SON AND SAID WOULD YOU LIKE ONE? HE LOOKED AT ME STRAIGHT IN THE FACE AND KINDLY TOLD ME THAT IF HE DID WEAR ONE TO SCHOOL ALL THE OTHERS KIDS WOULD LAUGH AT HIM. THE LIONS SUCK, ALWAYS WILL. SO ALL YOU SEASON TICKET SUCKERS JUST KEEP ON BUYING THOSE TICKETS. WILLIAM CLAY MUST LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!

Stanton is a good backup QB, and he WILL be the backup once Culpepper is done or injured. Ernie Sims is the only other ( besides Stanton ) Millen draft pick and he is actually a very good linebacker.

Stanford is starting. I don't necessarily agree with that. It would make more sense if the team were better. I don't want to see the kid's psyche be destroyed. We'll see.
