the bible is the word of God true some churches twist the words, Still jesus is the son of god and everything he says is the truth. I go by what the Christ says.

Aye then and you are right. What is the title of Acts? How many words in it are the words of Christ? What is the title of Romans? How many words in this chapter are spoken by Christ? Corinthians 1. I will give you that one. Title 'The first epistle (letter) of Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians' And words of Christ. None! It is the word of Paul a man.

Well put invisible. Agreed. Food for thought is provided in these discussions though and it does give people an idea that there is not just one way to believe. It also allows for people to realize they have built in filters to figure out what works for them and what isn't right for them.

THAT ONE MAN WAS MORE CLOSER TO JESUS THAN ANY OTHER IN THE NEW TEStament except maybe peter. and there is only one way and that is through jesus christ.

Then why if it is through Christ do the Moslims exist? Their book also contains within it the Word of God. Being close to Christ does not make one Christ nor does it make a man perfect. People quote the apostles as though they themselves were Christ. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

They were Christ only disciples that actually were taught in person by Christ

Just because they were taught by Christ doesn't mean they still were individuals with individual thought and comprehension.

Aye faith, hope, and love. The greatest being love. If you would follow in the path of Christ then should you not give all glory to the Father. Did not Jesus in all of his Words give Glory to the Father and not to himself.

Yes they were and they built a church instead. The gospel needs no church. Churches need stature, money, buildings, vestments, priests, clergy. What is the temple of the lord?

But they were written much later, so if they forgot something, or added something on because it seemed appropriate to them?

Not when those chapters were written for they were letters to the churches not teachings to the masses. Why did they build churches from which to teach the gospel? Christ had no church, teaching instead not from the pulpit but from the grass and the hills and the streets and the valleys. Gods throne is in the heavens and the earth is his footstool. How can a church compare with that?

So much useless bickering. Simply put, the scriptures are all "inspired by God". Like it or not. If you quote the scriptures out of context or give an obviously fradulent interpretation of scripturture, Christians should be offended. You are messing with something you shouldn't be messing with when you try to take your own perverse views and justify them using scripture.
