i'm not going to beg anyone but i couldn't care less what someone's
perception is of me because if i care about her, i'm gonna take the time
to talk to her and find out what is wrong,.

If he didn't have time for me or didn't make time for me? To me there's
a difference, if I know he's hella busy and just has a crazy schedule
then I respect that and do what I can to help make life easier for him.
If he chooses not to make time for me and does so a lot, then things
will have to change because what's the sense in being n a relationship
if you're not gonne BE in the relationship?

Absolutely King, if you care about someone you should do whatever you
can to find out why they're not happy and change that.

that's true. hopefully you find someone who is as understanding and open
as you are roxy because it just don't last the other way. one sided
relationships are never happy ones in the long run. people get tired of

yeah but it's not about where it ends up and most of them don't even do
it on purpose. they aren't mentally ill but there is a psychological
problem there. whether it's a control issue or they do it to try to test
the other person to push them away it is usually built around their own
inadequacies(just my opinion). don't get me wrong some people do it just
because they get off on it but they don't end up any different in tyhe
long run than the other time. the people that do it on purpose only like
it when they are doing it, when it is done to them they can't stand it
and they will burn faster than the other. i've seen it way too often.
people think i'm a pushover because i'm nice and when i decide to quit
being nice and to put a stop to it, it messes em up because they can't
stand for someone tp impose their will on them and the fact that they
have to kiss my ass and can't do anything about it kills em, but they
brought on themselves.

I definately agree 100% that most are covering up for their own
inadequacies. Unfortuantely it is the person on the receiving end, that
may have issues with esteem, who ends up feeling as if the problem lies
within them. It's truly a blessing to have a strong sense of self worth
in these types of situations.

A lot of good and useful things said here in this topic. Thanks for the
