Doner kabab is an open faced plate with lamb meat, rice and veggies. Cigara borek is a lightly breaded wrap of feta cheese wrapped in a light crust and fried. Efes is a turkish pilsner beer.... Damn, if only I had more company than myu blackbrry the evening would be perfect!!!

Yes, agreed on delish cuisine; I once lived in Turkey ...
... I did get SO tired of feta though; I've gone off it forever!!! ... Try grilled haloumi cheese on pita w/ salad and olives inside ... Yummo!!! ... Still, I prefer Lebanese (esp. falafel w/ baba ghanouj!!!) and Israeli cuisine as far as the Middle East samplings go ...
