I think that every generation has had smaller families then the previous ones. I see it in my own family too.

Is the planet going to blow up now? Be a shame to waste a nice planet like this. Better if God just hit the reset button on humanity as a failed experiment. |

The first commandment from god that I found in the bible... ... Multiply and fill the earth. We have done that... Of this there is no denying... (6 billion and growing)... We have fullfilled THAT commandment. Whats NEXT god! It can be argued that Genesis 2:16-17 was the first commandment given to man. "16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." As genesis 2 is a more detailed account of the creation of Adam and Eve. The commandment he gave to not eat of the tree of knowledge was before eve was created therefore the commandment to go forth and multiply would be the second commandment. Either way the go forth and multiply seems to be the one commandment no one has a problem following. |

On the sixth day... right after creating male and female... God gave them the commandant to 'fill the earth'... First actual commandment from god to man listed in the bible... and not only listed but the actual 'day' is not in dispute. |
