Why do some people think it's okay to hit on random people? I'm at school doing my work and some guys just come up to me and start laying down lines, when I am at my busiest! I could take it as a compliment but at the same time it's just very annoying. It's especially awful when they get super aggressive, I thought school was supposed to be a safe environment?

That stinks, especially if they got pushy. Was anyone else around? I would make sure not to be alone with them anytime soon if they did get that way. Consider reporting harassment if it gets worse, for sure.

I am always truly flattered and a bit embarrassed when hit on. But it is always a compliment and never annoying. Can you imagine how hard it is for them to approach a stranger they are interested in?

I am always truly flattered and a bit embarrassed when hit on. But it is always a compliment and never annoying. Can you imagine how hard it is for them to approach a stranger they are interested in? Well, it is hard I imagine but I'm more so talking about the guys who tend to get inappropriate fast and say things that can get them sued, and the ones who like to bother me during a project. |

Why is it that it seems like it's either one extreme or the other around here.
It goes from " I don't get ANYONE hitting on me " to " Why can't they just leave me ALONE?? " Doesn't look like there is a whole lot of middle ground. |
