That would be the multi million dollar ice castle they built in St Paul MN, in 2004. Ironically, it was built 3 blocks from an under funded homeless shelter. It was huge, had giant screen tvs, an ice rink, and fun stuff. Funny what we spend money on and ignore, huh? Sounds cool, but... ya know? I agree, that's insane. But unfortunately money and big impressive things talk in society, good deeds anymore......not so much seems like.

I am far from desperate. I just keep thinking that there are intelligent interesting people on this site. Yes I have posted before on several forums, but never in such an infantile way that I have seen on this one. Another strike against finding a person who has the same values that I do.

I am so sick of trying to find a nice person. I thought I did and was very disappointed. This site and others like it seem like more work for nothing. I have invested a lot of time in just being myself and trying to get good conversation to start something than it is worth. I think I would rather be alone. The quest of the world (most) is to be happy all want it so few find it. It's better to try and fail then give up and have a lonely heart. |

Another strike against finding a person who has the same values that I do. people can tell you to post in the forums until their faces turn blue. however, what i've found personally, is that there's no frequent forum poster living remotely close to me who interests me enough to want to meet them. i'm involved with someone anyway, so the point is irrelevant. the forums are a great way to make friends and talk to people and, yes, i've met many of them (who live miles and miles away). however, i don't think it's the place to meet people romantically, unless you're willing, and able, to get involved in a long distance relationship (as most of them seem to be). |
