Originally I signed up to spy on my room mate who was already on JSH. Then I started hitting up the forums and started chatting with a few guys. The first one I hung out with twice and then he disappeared of the planet.... got a message on myspace from his GIRLFRIEND later... so that solved that.
Then I had the pleasure of meeting Indnprncs as we lived close by and decided it would be fun to hang out.... and we've been hanging out ever since! (Now we're neighbors) 
Next guy was really a cool guy, we chatted for several months and dated for a bit but it didn't work out. Met another guy (who I really thought could have been the one for me) and ended up in a pretty serious relationship for 9 months, and again it didn't work out. As you can see I'm over 10k posts so now it seems I'm here for the forums and my friends. |

Came here to date, thats not happening so I now I'm making new friends, and playing in the forums.

Originally I came here by mistake. I was really into freebie sites, getting free products etc off the net and accidentally clicked on the jsh link. My first thought was OMG NOT A DATING SITE!!!
 I was definately not ready to date anyone at that time....just coming out of a bad marriage. But I liked the forums and it was really fun at the time and eventually I stayed an made a whole bunch of friends.
NOW I CANT LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!!

One morning, after a long night of drinking and carrying on, I woke up and here I was. And you never left!

Nah, that was a joke she is pretty awesome. I don't want to nor will I date anyone from the internet (ok maybe Patsfan is an exception  ).

At first because my friend told me to check it out he met a chick from here so I said what the hey, then I met som e cool a@$ people here, and some not so cool but no lovers. usually the ones I'm interested in always tend to be from very far away so unfortunately we never end up meeting. But it's cool to chat it up for a while then snap back to reality...

Basically, to meet new people via email & messenger. I have met several great people who found themselves great matches but we still remain friends although we don't talk as much for obvious reasons.

well i'm always down to meet friends and hang out but i've found more IRL friends on another free site. but on here... not at all. haven't met another soul irl.

Actually in reality I like Gypsy stumbled onto this site when it was JSH with no intentions of dating but to have a place to voice my opinion with others as well.
What happened is I ended up liking the forums and continued to post within them. At one time I stayed only in the Poetry Section due to the ones in there seemed to be able to express themselves without bashing others for what they had to say. It was not long before a few actually talked me into posting my own thoughts instead of only responding to those that did. I would and still do scope out the forums and read the threads till I find one that I want to answer. AS far as the friends I have meet here have been awesome there are many that I only e-mail, a few I have talked to on the phone and some I have met in person as well. It seems I'm hooked on this site it is like a ray of colors within a rainbow you never know which one you will see next or when it will happen.
