Originally I signed up to spy on my room mate who was already on JSH. Then I started hitting up the forums and started chatting with a few guys. The first one I hung out with twice and then he disappeared of the planet.... got a message on myspace from his GIRLFRIEND later... so that solved that. 
Hah. I got a call from someone's Fiancee once. I hadn't met the guy yet, though. I had just been friends with him. |

Anyway, to answer my own questions, I'm here for all the reasons stated in the OP. There aren't many local people here, but it would be nice to get a chance to meet some more friends from the forums.
