I must say that I think you are a fine young man for trying to do the "right thing." BUT I do think that you need to stop and really sit down and try to look at things from the outside. You are 19 years old and you have YOUR life in front of you. IF this girl did want your help and you ended up together, do you really understand all the drama you would go through?
Are you going to college? Do you have a full time job? If you have a child, trust me...you need lots of money. I will talk to you like I talk to my son...EDUCATION IS NUMBER ONE!!! If you don't have a college education, then you are going to be in trouble...esp in the situation that our country is in.
I think you just need to let her call you and just be a friend. Live your life for you, not for someone elses mistakes. You can not save anyone...save yourself my friend!!!

We care about you or we wouldn't be bothering to respond. Some guys are just rescuers. It fills a need they have in their lives to be useful, a hero, needed, a knight in shining armour. But while he's rescuing, his fair maiden is working him for all she's worth and making another baby too!
Let the Salvation Army and the Red Cross be her friend. They know how to do it without getting hurt.
