K so the first thing I did was check my profile..
Apparently I DID spell intelligent correctly LOL. WHEW! I dont meet anyone close who I like ever. I DO meet some people other places that are nice. O well, spose its not meant to be for now. I dunno, I hope I do meet someone intelligent if my current man doesnt pan out. I hope if they cant spell intelligent, or dont know what it is, they will just move on. These spelling errors are nice indicators though! Hey spell on people!

That's not a enigmatic enigma that's just good old fashion ego. Everyone wants to fell as smart or smarter then the people around them, and hate it when they fell that their intelligence is insulted. Its also harder to impress a really intelligent person.
My profile is far from a OGP But I think it works. At least I get reposes from intelligent women. |

my profile sucks, i get no responses, i have an IQ of 16(i really do) and i'm not real smart, but can lift incredibly enormous, extremely heavy objects, and drop them, for absolutely no reason what so ever.....and i like it!

Now that I found out what "OGP" stands for, I also noticed the Part 5 of the thread on the recent post boards. I did read through some of the posts. I will admit that I am not the brightest bulb on the tree; and there are days that I am more than one taco short of a combination plate...yet, I just do not understand why a person would just go out looking for someone to make fun of. I wonder when a line from my profile was in that thread to be made fun of and ridiculed...I mean, I am sure that my profile must not meet some arbitrary standard... Maybe I don't have an intelligent enough sense of humor to understand the point...

The reason I say that is because it's clear to me that we have a number of very intelligent men on this site, perhaps as many as six or seven. Once again, I think you underestimate people. I think there are more men than that on here who qualify as intelligent. Enigma Two is the fact that no one seems to be able to write a decent profile. When you say “no one”, you ARE including yourself in that broad statement. I disagree about there not being any decent profiles, but this is my subjective impression. But then, why would they want to claim they're LOOKING FOR someone intelligent? Maybe they are looking for something they themselves lack. Because you're SUPPOSED to be looking for someone intelligent. Who made that rule? But really intelligent people scare them; they don't WANT to have anything to do with anyone who actually HAS a functioning brain. Maybe it’s not that really intelligent people scare them, but that some of the more intelligent people shoot down the less intelligent ones. I’m going to embarrass myself here and admit that I had an interest in you when I joined last August. I was smart enough to at least read your profile and follow your posts before doing anything as stupid as contacting you. By doing so, I found out that I didn’t meet your qualifications. When I came back to the site a few months ago, I once again read your profile and have seen your posts from time to time and have to say that you don’t come across as intimidating in your posts or profile (as you say you have been told), but that you do come across as a bit negative toward those you see as less intellectual than yourself. In emails, you’re completely different and come across as more compassionate. You’re attractive and smart, but a bit negative about other people’s intelligence and finding someone compatible and I think that is why women shy away from you. Ok, now that I’ve pi$$ed you off and made sure you won’t be as nice to me… go ahead and let me have it. I know you’re going to fire off at me now. wow, this girl may be a keeper lex. i didn't completely proofread her post, but i didn't have to pause to read any of the words due to excessive misspelling. and she even used a couple of big words in there: intellectual, compassionate, subjective, and impression. lets not forget that she seems a bit of a firecracker too. awesome. smurt gurls rock. oh, and i agree with lex. if you're going to write a profile, at least spell check the damn thing so that you don't look like a complete idiot. . . . |
