Awesome tribute! At times i'd forget what i was serving for but it would always soon return. I'm a Persian Gulf War Veteran and my older brother wil soon retire from the Army like my father did from the Coast Guard.  oh , My Dear Sister  & Navy Veteran you are awesome
 thank you so much for your dedication & service for all of us
This is why i am here to bring love  to those who defend our freedom
to bring awareness to all Americans to be exceedingly thankful
& to pray for our troops  & support them in every way we can
 and to help those of you noble Soldiers out on the Battlefield
 so tired & weary  to not lose sight  of why it is you are there

do you realize that marijuana was grown legally for years & years
and even was used in almost the entire construction of ships & log books, uniforms, decking, maps, Flags, ropes, almost everything was made of hemp..
during World War & world War II even the US Government paid people to grow hemp that was needed to build things used in the Military ...
that's why we see the word Hemp in People's Names & in the Names of Towns because of their involvement in the hemp production..
until unscrupulous people like william randall hearst  and john dow plotted together 
& spread horrible propaganda in their newspapers
to get the evil lies out & to make it illegal

the production of paper & fabric would be done here not overseas
there would be way less impact on the environment
because it is much easier to process than wood is
it would cost much less to manufacture

Whoa...I thought this was about the troops thread??
Hemp is hemp...it was once used widely for many things...not to smoke. It was later grown and made potent to get high on. The true hemp was stronger and makes many things. I am all for them growing it for clothes homes, what have ya....but.......well, you know how I feel. God bless our troops...this fourth of July and always. We...our church and community are getting together to make many boxes to send to my sons unit (units). There are some who get nothing from home. I talked to him today...he sounds depressed. I am worried about him. He has seen things that are bothering him. He is also beginning to worrry about his reception coming home by his wife. Not that she has done anything wrong....but he keeps hearing stories from others how their wives are messing around and he sees the guys doing it too. There are women there that are making him feel less trusting. He keeps hearing that divorces (and separation) are high after deployment. That the kids feel distant...that part is killing him. I am going to try and talk to him soon. I was hoping tomorrow....but volunteered to work early after I told him I would be home in the morning. Please help me in keeping prayers for him and his family and those others that need intervention from a higher power. Thanks Kat |

those freedoms my Dad & Uncles sorely fought for
& I lost two Uncles very brutally in wars ...
so these Freedoms are very very near & dear to my Heart

i am thinking of all the people i know who are deployed now , and praying that their spirits will be high
and that they will get through their tours quickly
