Topic: If you woke up one day | |

I think I see what Jess means. I'll share this much. I try to keep a cap for the most part on this part of my life but.... After my husband died, just within a couple of weeks, I remember walking through our new house, big house, new furniture etc. I walked from room to room. Into the dining room that I FINALLY had and had wanted for many years to be able to have friends over with more room. Looked into my china cabinet...walked in all the rooms and just thought...it's over. None of this matters, means anything without him. Nothing money could have bought, nothing money Had bought healed my heart in that moment. I have always been a basic person with regard to material things. But in that moment, I knew, for sure what was the most important thing in life. yes........thankyou, beautiful |

I think you raise another good point though, companionship could also be a need. I don't mean companionship in peddy way, but in the true since of the word. Like what you spoke of Auburn and don't get me wrong I agree with you too Jess. Thanks to both of you for taking this seriously. |

Jess
Tracker, thank you. I think companionship is definitely a need. I don't believe we were created to be alone. And certainly, at that time in my life, (10 yrs ago last week) I certainly ached for it. |

If you woke up one day and found that you suddenly had everything that you could possiably need what would be the first thing you would do? i would smile and enjoy a pain free day but i don't think they do brain transplants yet as this ol' body moans and groans and rattles and shakes |

I wake up greatful every morning. Could use a little more piece of mind and peace of mind, but hey I'm not greedy, just greatful.
