I have never had a fishing trip like the one I had in Ketchikan, AK. Has anyone else ever fished there? I will go back sometime.

Not only that, but the impending poop-storm that would be happening should the North Koreans actually get their Taepodong-2 ICBM working properly could put a crimp on travel plans to the state. Studies report that the 'dong should be able to reach Anchorage or thereabouts if it's successful.

Didn't fish, but did do some whitewater rafting. That was pretty damn cool. I'll have to see if I can do that again at some point. drinker

I had a great time there. I went up the Copper River and fished for King Salmon. I also went up the pipeline road to Dead Horse and spent some time at Denali, Fairbanks, Talkeetna, and Anchorage.

It was a blast.

i've always fancied going there, think it's the male to female ratio that appeals!

I was there last year for a 12 day land/cruise.
I didn't go fishing, but loved every minute of it.

It is a fantastic place for a vacation.

I'm sure they have nicknamed this new, long range missle Long Dong.
