You do get preachy when people disagree with you, though. |

Some members of the humane race, "can act" in horrendous manners. I look on people as I would on ANY mammal. If any mammal goes mad(?) & choses to kill & destroy, all it meets. I say "destroy that mammal & protect all the others. There are members of the humane race that fit this description & yes, I can be the executioner. My god taught me to love ALL his creations, but gave me the power to see when one of them needs to be destroyed. Something I think our present society has forgotten. I hope you all see how this fits here, in my opinion. I respect your opinion but disagree a bit(which remember..I am not saying makes me right). You stated that God gave you the power to see "when one needs to be destroyed"..which I feel can be reckless.I am sure alot of people who murder may go under the same reasoning...thinking..this is my duty! I feel God gave me the power to see when one"needs to be healed",not destroyed! But life is great like this...we all have our own opinions and are lucky to be free enough to express them.I truly hope one day Oldsage...that Love Will Conqueor Hate! What I am suggesting here isn't a new thought.It goes way back...but that does not make it oldnews! You a truly one hip cat Oldage...thank you! |

I'm sorry, when did this thread start being about Jesus? Move it to the religious forum and get on with it, or shuddup. It's just polite. Of course, this thread is redonkulous anyhow. Or maybe well wishes....? It certainly seems to only serve the purpose of making folks feel fuzzy, and isn't rooted in any sort of reality that doesn't involve illicit drugs. One can respect others as people, but peace love... yes, it's great. But there exist people who do not want that and unless and until we all do, it won't happen. Phew, my honesty is overwhelming even me. TGIF!!!! I am not trying to make others feel fuzzy..i am only saying what my truth is.How you feel in regards to that is all up to you. Or can we speak as two people for a moment!I would actually like to know you and who you are. Here's a bit about me! I am a singer/songwriter from New York.I was raised by my mom..my dad split when I was one!I enjoy bad jokes...ask any of my friends here...and was inspired by the beatles at age five.I still tend to watch saturday cartoons and eat cereal(which is probably why i am not married).I am currently pursuing a teaching degree for elementry school kids...but have a hard time finding a job! I cook great Italian food...and have a soft spot for parakeets! I have never been to church and never read the bible.I have never followed any religion!I am deathly afraid of heights and rollercoasters. I am proud to say I have only viewd American Idol 4 times in my life...and have been known to partake in the occasional herbal jazz ciggerett! I came to the conclusion that..no matter what our differences are...no matter of race, creed or age and certainly no matter of financial and prestige in the world...we are all made of the same stuff that also supports life. A basic need of love...compassion and understanding. Let this then be the place to come to talk..think and hear what we are all trying to say...We Are All One! Ya Dig? again, well said. recognizing that the unchangeable differences are a simple accident of birth, and the others are a product of the human experience and not specifically related to the difference itself . . . then will true communication, respect, nmind, you (some of you) get the picture. |
