I'm sorry, when did this thread start being about Jesus?
Move it to the religious forum and get on with it, or shuddup. It's just polite. Of course, this thread is redonkulous anyhow. Or maybe well wishes....? It certainly seems to only serve the purpose of making folks feel fuzzy, and isn't rooted in any sort of reality that doesn't involve illicit drugs. One can respect others as people, but peace love... yes, it's great. But there exist people who do not want that and unless and until we all do, it won't happen. Phew, my honesty is overwhelming even me. TGIF!!!! |

Yes, I believe different types of love were mentioned earlier. And while others are fine with it, I do think it's odd to love someone for posting in their thread.
Then again, I am not religious at all. The OP seems fairly religious, so maybe that's some of the difference in opinion? |

A man gets high. He then gathers some friends up to get some more money from a guy he knows who keeps cash in the house. He ties the man up by a lamp cord, then burns him about the face and neck with the light bulb. He then whips him with a dog collar, a chain collar, until his skin splits open. The neighbors hear him screaming and police arrive before they get his money. They flee and elude arrest. Dude goes to Florida and gets caught and returned to the state where the crime occurred. You meet with him, and he proudly tells you about hurting others, killing his cat, setting fires, impregnanting underage girls, and using women for sex. He then brags about his drug use. Do you love him? Now..if a man did what you had said..your question was would I love him.I could love him on a level of his misguidance and being a lost soul.Now..I certainly don't love his actions and don not agree with them. You see...any situation means nothing...except the meaning you give it!To me...that man made me give meaning to my own life..I see that what he did serves no one any good.So through him I am able to define myself as a person who chooses not to harm..or hate!If i go around hating this man...what good does it do me?It only makes me feel more hate...then I watch the news and see more hate...and read the paper and see more hate. All that is doing is making me hate more and more and literally making my mind and body sick! So..I do not agree with that man..and despise what he has done...but the only way to conquer hate is with love and compassion.I am not saying he should run free. But I am saying...once we change the way we look at things...the things we look at change. The only way for me to change the world I am seeing before me..is to change the way I look at that world. If I focus on love...I tend to get more love in my life. When I focus on hate..I get more hate! In my wildest dreams..I hope for a councious shift of thinking in the world. The old way isn't working any more.I am sure it may not come in my lifetime...but the only way it will begin is one person at a time. Thank you so much for posing that question...my deepest wish for you is that you continue to think for yourself..do not listen to others.Your truth belongs for you to declare...so I completely respect your opinion. That is what this thread is about..I just want to conversate and learn more about the world I live in and the people I hare it with! We are TWO minds and ONE destiny my friend.Be well! |

You and I are not the same. We are not one. You continuing to say "I love you" is creepy. I love you too... This is the conversations i was trying to get from everyone...and let me just say..i may me wrong or you may be wrong. But no matter what...I have to follow my heart. And my heart tells me..I am pasrt of everyone.....so crucify me if you see I need to be.I respect that! I wasn't inferring you were wrong or I was right and never said that... I was just trying to have fun by saying that I love her too... Just trying to add a little comedy to lighten the mood... That was my intention solely. I would rather people go around telling people that they love them over they hate them any day.. As far as me saying that I love you to people (right or wrong) I reserve those words for a relationship developed between us. I tell friends I love them everyday but those are in a sense my reward words for being such a wonderful person in my life. Those words are reserved for people that really move me emotionally and are said as a thank you and a confirmation that you are close to my heart... I respect your opinion on loving everyone as Jesus would and I commend you on it... We need people like you in this world that love unconditional as it pertains to mankind... but I can't love that way fortunate for me unfortunate for mass murders, rapist, child molesters and so on... |

I came to the conclusion that..no matter what our differences are...no matter of race, creed or age and certainly no matter of financial and prestige in the world...we are all made of the same stuff that also supports life. A basic need of love...compassion and understanding. Let this then be the place to come to talk..think and hear what we are all trying to say...We Are All One! Ya Dig? well said! |
