I have earthy toned walls...sand coloured/stone/soft grey greens in the main room, with a beautiful canvas of five Buddhist monks walking away from the artist, in the harsh sunlight, each with a parasol over their heads to protect them...
In my room, I have stone coloured walls on three, with a feature wall in the darkest chocolate brown..on one wall I have my favourite of all time artist...I have a Klimt..'The Kiss'...and on another I have this glorious canvas done by a friend of mine Bob Gammage...called 'Menage au Pear'...three gorgeous plump ripe pears, that at their base have evolved into three plump ripe bottoms... it's stunning...so very female... http://www.theatreoflifeartistry.com/gallery/THE-AUCTION-ROOM/menage_au_pear My house is an old Queenslander... weather board, high ceilings, polished 6 inch wide planked timber floors...french doors throughout...no curtains, a light and airy house.. |

I don't know if this is considered decoration but if you look past the bamboo you can see three squirrels on the tree out side my bedroom... They would scatter up and down the tree chasing each other and being squirrely squirrels..

That is so cool!! We dont have squirrels here...so it's a buzz to see them doing their thing! Thankyou! No squirrels? I'm sure you have animals that are just as naughty.. Squirrels get into everything... they are so crafty...

Just don't let that bamboo get outside!!!! That stuff is evil! once it roots you can't get rid of it with a bull dozer...take my word on this...I have literally rented a dozer and still couldn't get rid of that damned stuff! Love the Dutch Masters Paintings Angel!!!! They have always been an inspiration for me! |

I had s*it loads of it on the one side of my place in Pa.. Thanks to my girlfriend at the time... ((Oh, we can make a bamboo wall with it in the back...)) yeah right... Some of it I kept up against the house... the rest came out with my buddies truck a tow chain and a few shovels... We probably went through three gallons of water that day each sweating our balls off... pulling that crap out...
