Which do you handle the best? Physical pain or emotional? Do you have a high or low tolerance? What type of pain would make you crack?

Physical pain is no biggie.
Well, emotional isn't anymore either. But if I HAD to chose, I would say emotional. A broken heart or soul is hard to heal. |

I have an incredibly high tolerance for pain. I've been skewered by metal rods... I've been burned... I've been scraped to all hell... i've been cut with almost everything imaginable.
I don't even pay attention to most kinds of pain anymore, as it's all just something in your head. |

I have limits on both.

I have been through both and neither is fun...

Pain is weakness leaving the body.

Due to a congenital disorder, I have lived with chronic physical pain for most of my life...I have learned to compartmentalize it & make it seperate from my mind...I have an extremely high tolerance...
But I have a very low tolerance to a friend's betrayal...the loss of a loved one...disillusionment...etc... That type of pain hurts me the most...but I haven't cracked yet... |

Either or, physical pain doesn't do much as I have severe nerve damage...emotional pain doesn't do much because of the nerve damage to my brain. I actually don't feel a lot of emotions.

After much training and experience, I can handle either pretty well.

Id say i have a pretty high pain tolerance.

I usually go with something Latin as I know a bit of Latin...but figured I do a lot of illicit substances too, it is a good pick for my personality. |

Physical pain.

Most women have high tolerance for physical pain, yet not so much for emotional unless they have events that build that wall to protect themselves. I think that more we all have become de-sensitized to emotional forgiveness and we simply shut out the emotional.
Whether or not you want to admit it, we all deal with the emotional in our own terms and adapt to suit our lives. |

Emotional pain must be extreme for me to crack...learned to deal with that many years ago. I have a high tolerance to physical pain, as well. But I do have my limits regarding both.
What really gets me is intense, exquisite pain...meaning physical pain confined to a relatively tiny area...such as a tooth ache, or when I fractured my toes...yeeee-ow. That hurt far worse than a punctured lung, fractured nose or dislocated jaw. |

use your pain...let it turn into something else
