use your pain...let it turn into something else

Anger...which is nothing more than an emotional response to pain...has been very motivational for me at times...the trick is learning to let the anger go after it has performed it's task...

I handle physical pain better than the emotional. Physical pains heal faster than the emotional rips and scars.

I don't speak often about emotional pain for obvious reasons. I will say this. We are stronger than we ever believed we could be when presented with it. It might take us down. The key is do we ever get back up again? I choose to.

I think most of us, if not all of us, have had to deal with emotional pain. Deaths, breakups, illnesses, and accidents happen in everyone's life. I would hope to think that it hasn't scarred me any worse than anyone else.

Physical pain is something we all have to deal with whether it is a stubbed toe or a chronic condition. I passed a kidney stone that took four months. It was one with little spikes that broke as it traveled. Not recommended for a good time!!! LOL

That is what has helped me get through some very intence situations. I get very focused when in physical pain. Motivation is a necessity during times of danger and pain.

But matters of the heart are the hardest kinds of pain to deal with, but somehow....I always do

This past Sunday, I almost had a bolt drive itself into my skull from me being bent over, and forgetting that there was a tv shelf above me. One of the many pleasures of being really tall.. laugh

I finally broke down on Tuesday morning.. after almost falling down.. and had a friend drive me to the doc. After a couple of x-rays, he told me not only did I have a hairline fracture at the top of my skull, he noticed that I've had FOUR others in my life that have healed really well.. Unknown to me, lol..

I've been shot, slashed with a razor, about 200 stitches in my scalp, broke my nose twice, seven fingers, both legs, and both big toes. OH.. Almost forgot three hernia operations in the same location in my groin.

Love hurts more when you're done wrong..tears tears
