Should I buy my baby's momma a mother's day gift?
I don't want it to be taken the wrong way as if I still have feelings for her. I don't have feelings for her anymore and have no desire to get back with her. I just know that she'll misconstue a gift from me to her as something more. I just want to get her something because, even though she drives me completely insane, I want to give her a standing ovation as a mom. She is an excellent mother. What to do? |

just give her a card and tell her its a special day and you thought it would be a nice jesture I'm not that type of person to waste my time on a card that won't be remembered and will be a waste of my money. Cards are a waste of time unless there is information about a party with free beer. |

if she's crazy, get her a brochure to a mental institution

card. make your own. better yet help the kids make it and then add your note that you appreciate her being a good mom.
cheap, easy, heartfelt and sincere. if you do it right it won't send the wrong message. |

I always give my kids' dad something for father's day on behalf of the children. Regardless of my feelings towards him or the idea of getting a gift, he IS their father and they love him. I'll continue to do so until such an age that they are able to go out and get him something on their own. I usually keep it very simple and inexpensive - a hand-made craft from the kids is my favourite route cause there's no question that it comes directly from them and all I had to do was chip in the money. |

Well she ain't my mother!
But she is the mother of your children. You can honor that with a card or flowers. |
