This is for Men and Women: How do you prefer you mate? Skinny, Fat, Thick, Thin? If there a difference? And what makes you like them THAT way??

I'm not sure I have a 'type' or preference. I'm ok with skinny and I'm ok with chunky. I like the clean cut professional type, but that's not dependant on body type.

Breathing. I've been in relationships with women that ranged from a size zero at 5'8" to a size 20 at 6'1".

The girl I have is who I prefer. If she ever gets heavy, I'll love her just like I have for over a year now. Who cares about physical appearances? There is so much more than that. But a great rack doesn't hurt!

Prefer.... all women! I have been with many varying sizes, shapes, and color! All of them beautiful in there own right! Variety is the spice of life!

i like men that are strong inside and out...and i love the big teddy bear type...but tall skinny men like me the most...

Looking at my history of boyfriends, i can honestly say i have no preference!

They have been overweight, underweight, tall, short, brunette, blonde etc etc...

I think its more about charisma for me, its an unseen preference.

If a guy is funny and will sit through horror movies with me then I am good.

I am happy with what I got....gorgeous face, knock out body, incredibly smart and independant take no crap kind of woman. Had my fill of settling for less.

I like my men good and ugly!!!! I wanna be the pretty one!!!!

the one thing that all of my men have had in common is that they were strong. forces to be reckoned with.

that's not necessarily a good thing, lol...but still.

i find i'm most physically attracted to latinos...i literally go all weak in the knees and get tongue-tied.

OK... so it doesn't matter what they look like as long as their personality and charm is what you like.

So if some guy/gal came up to you and they were about 350 lbs. You could over look that and like them cause they were charming??

Or if there was a guy/gal that looked like thay hadn't eaten in 4 months, bones showing and all that. You would be interested cause they were funny and cute??

Plenty of people claim that looks are not important...and yes, I have lowered my standards in the past...even barn yard animals get laid....but, looks do count...just ask a Peac*ck.

it's an interesting question, and i'm actually going to answer it.

the preferences come into play in the beginning, before the relationship deepens to love. had my husband looked like he did when we divorced, i wouldn't have been attracted to him...

over time, people change. once you've taken them into your heart, it doesn't matter so much...it's a gradual evolution of things. in the beginning, there needs to be some freaking attraction.

i like strong men, on both a physical and mental level. physically fit, either red-headed or brunette. olive skin tone or darker. generally taller than i, though i've dated shorter on a few occasions.

i like bad boys and clean-cut military men.

these are, however, shallow and physical. i've often had someone i never would have been originally attracted to BECOME attractive over a period of time.

Its not always about the looks per se. Ive met alot of gorgeous men and went out with them. Everytime they opened their mouths you just wanted to stuff a pair of socks in there!! Ive also met alot of "average" looking people who after you get to know them have the type of "charisma" that you cannot help but be drawn to. I want someone with charisma.....

Well we are all visual creatures and sometimes it blinds us to the true nature of the person! I have to say that I am attracted to women with some meat on the bones and average sized women... The biggest attraction is fair eyed women to me!

sorry I am shallow... I want a woman who is average in looks, with a body that ranges in 4' 11 and 100 lbs to 5'7" and 170 lbs.. yeah at here is some give and take in looks and weight but not much.. I am tired of overweight women there I said it so what?. I an healthy and try to stay fit , or at least what I should weigh. And I expect that from my counter part. I have made no bones about it on here and if it offends? I really do not care .

we all have preferences and what is acceptable. and physical appearence is a major part of it. You have to be attracted to someone , just to get to know them. Like you posted what if its a 350 lb person or a rack of bones? do you find it attractive? I don't . I am sure they are great people and have great personalities. But That's just not someone I would feel comfortable with over a long period of time, no matter how good of a person they are.

I don't wish to offend anyone but that's just the way it is.

I like my girls trim and muscular.

Thin = Stick Figure Too bony, not enough meat.

Outright fat = ABSOLUTELY NO WAY: I don't like feeling like a guppy where the male is smaller than the female. Also there are things they cannot do in bed or out of bed that I like to do.

Thick = big girl: I'm not against them but I just am not attracted to them although I do have friends who are.

Sub 1, The HARD CORE: If she is so into body building that she looks like Arnold S in his peak that is not exactly attractive to me.
Sub 2, The serious Martial artist: I love really dangerous things and women are included. If she can split a 2x4 with an Ax Kick I give that woman a lot of points. Yes I give them a lot of points.
On a side note as a gun owner, I would rather be involved with a woman who would rather kick my as for pissing her off than come home to get shot by my own weapon by my GF PMSing too hard. At least being 'called out' for a disagreement leaves room for negotiation even if I have to fight like hell to defend myself during the course of the argument.

Sub Catagory: The Valkyrie
These are women who are taller than most men. Oddly I do not have any issue with this class of woman. If she is 6'6" and looks like a huge swim suit model, more for me to play with!


I like a girl with booty but not BOOOOTAY! If her back side goes "ba donk a donk" while she is walking along all I can do is laugh at the comedy of it. Hooters are nice but huge ones are a serious turn off for me.

The whole thing with me is "can she take care of her self" or is she a lazy blimp in training? I am not about to culture a lazy blimp in training.

I seriously hope I do not come off as a sexist pig but I have had some pretty fuqed up yard sticks held against me over the years. Women can be down right COLD and I have felt the chill a few times.
Women have standards, so do I. I am not one of those people who are happy with anything.

Fluffy Cottontails (AKA Fluffy Bunnies): Soft ass, no substance. NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MAAM! These are women looking for Princes, knights, kings, etc. They are (to me at least) gold diggers looking for the easy way using their attributes (cough, vaginas, cough) to "hook" a rich man who will take care of them for the rest of their lives. My opinion of them is: Get a job, get a life! Wake up and get real. Welcome to the new Millenium and equal rights! If I even see "looking for a prince, knight, king" I will not even respond to that profile! (cough, cough, worthless, cough, cough).

Personality only carries so far. It is a balance of forces that makes someone truly beautiful. Brittany Spears may have the look but she has the personality of trailer trash. J-Lo has the look and talent but she is such a bugie ***** that if she shot her mouth off at me the way she does other people she would find out my backhand is deadlier than any pimp's as I knocked her off of her feet for disrespecting me. Respect is given where respect is shown. Likewise you can take poo poo and put it in a pretty bag and rename it fertilizer but it is still a bag of pop poo.
