religion is a prat of culture. the two are intertwined Several religions perform this procedure including Christian and Muslim. |

I'm sure by the end of this post someone will blame this on the Christians. I will |

We have NO right to interfere in their practicesIts not our place to be concerned about what their women do.Its none of our business. We need to be caring about American women.Thats our businessThats what I care about.

religion is a part of culture. the two are intertwined Why don't we skip the assumed causes, and name the cause directly: Stupidity. How about that? |

I'm sure by the end of this post someone will blame this on the Christians. It has already been said that it is a culturally procedure and not a religious one. Why do you even have to go there? Because he can't help it, it's a tradition.. |

religion is a part of culture. the two are intertwined Why don't we skip the assumed causes, and name the cause directly: Stupidity. How about that? Ignorance works for me, though Mirror might be right that it is none of our business, but you have to wonder how many of those women would not have it done if they were educated, and knew they had a choice. |

I kind of agree, but I would like to add, that it only takes to be anything smarter than a dog, to know that you have choices. You get the idea immediately as soon as you question authority. Education teaches you how to achieve the things you choose, but in this definition, US has no education. |

Forgive him Marc Antony. He hails from a small provincial island and believes that the customs of his tribe should apply to all the world

women in Japan clamp their feet as children so they won't grow. I don't agree with that but I wouldn't think to judge them
women in Burma pile rings on their necks to force the neck to grow really long. I don't agree with that but I wouldn't think to judge them Men in the Maori cultures tattoo their entire face the old fashioned way with bamboo slivers |

It is my moral right to be "concerned" about mistreatment of any human. What all my rights are to do anything about it maybe at question, especially for those that happen outside our borders, but to not be concerned would leave me inhuman IMO. |
