For me, they are the same.... physical or emotional....I can't walk away from anyone in pain. What if you are the one who hurt their feelings and being there made it worse? |

I have to wear it.... if I hurt someone, caused emotional pain...unless TOLD to go away, I would never walk away. |

That was the point of my original post, actually...because if it's an "all or nothing" situtation and I can't give all, then walking away is probably taking the high road and allowing the other person to recover. Hurts like heck to know you've caused someone else pain...that's your own portion of it to live with and hurt over. That is also the great thing about these threads. Everyone's answer is based on the interpretation of the moment/person. |
