Topic: the tea party is coming... | |

As many of us heard a large organized refusal to pay taxes the 15 is coming up. How many of you are on it this year? How many of you have the nuggets to make it clear the government is f*cking up and we are loosing confidence in our leadership across the board?
I got my head dress on this year! |

Here, Andy.
For those who would go but can't. They can fax this in to the Whits House and Congress. We are fed up with a Congress and a president who: vote for a $500 billion tax bill without even reading it? are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying? consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected? want to take your wealth and redistribute it to others? punish those who practice responsible financial behavior and reward those who do not? admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda? run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China? want government controlled health care? want to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in union elections? refuse to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into our country? appoint a defender of child pornography to the Number 2 position in the Justice Department? want to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will? want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels? want to reduce your tax deductible for charitable gifts? take money from your family budget to pay for their federal budget? |

Just got this in for folks who live near Seabrook and can attend.
April 13, 2009 Dear Texas Patriot, I'm excited to inform you that Ron Paul will be campaigning for liberty at the Clear Lake Tea Party this Wednesday! As activists gather all across the country on April 15th to protest the monstrous growth of our government, Congressman Paul is excited to attend this event in his home district and to be among friends and neighbors while promoting the Constitution. For more information, visit the Clear Lake Tea Party website here: http://www.clearlaketeaparty.com/ The Tea Party starts at 6pm at Clear Lake Park, 5001 Nasa Parkway, Seabrook, TX. You will want to enter on the south side of (Clear Lake) of Nasa Parkway and meet at the Brick Pavilion. With the Clear Lake Tea Party, Texas C4L members have a perfect chance to show the media and the establishment that support for the freedom message is stronger than ever. In Liberty, John Tate President, Campaign for Liberty |

Views of Income Taxes Among Most Positive Since 1956 With the April 15 tax deadline looming, just under half of Americans (48%) say the amount of federal income tax they pay is “about right.” Since 1956, Gallup has found a higher percentage expressing this view only once -- in 2003. Additionally, 61% regard the income tax they are paying this year as fair. http://www.gallup.com/Home.aspx |

You're confusing me, Willing. You're describing Bush with most of the things that you are talking about. |

I'm with the "tea party" on this one. Nobody in the white house wants to pay their taxes, so why should we?

Unfortunately I've already sent in my taxes earlier this year... funny thing happened though;
the government was nice enough to "correct" a "mistake" and rescended one of those stim checks, since I did not receive mine due to the fact I was in Afghanistan. So basically they stole 600 bucks and told me it was my fault because I was wrong and should not have been receiving one on the first place. (I'm not a special enough interest group!) But, boy was I sure glad they were looking out for me! This aint the land of the free i signed on the defend, lots has changed in the mindsofthe mental midgets who are now running the insane assylum. oh well.... spill some tea for me please. doc |

How can they not like such a tax law? I've met a family of four, they do not work, and yet, they get about $6000 a year "back", as a "refund". They think that US TAX code is very fair. |
