HEY!!! Welcome !!! I am so glad to see some of you coming over here!!!
Bring your friends! You can talk all you want here without being hassled like POF! |
Smoke is a great drver as well and he has a lot of fire that comes out
sometimes but that is racing!! He is my other favorite besides Junior. He does a lot for the kids. I like that. he has a good heart and is super passionate about everything he does. |
Tony Stewart, why are you stinking this year?
Tony is a great driver..alot of problems have been bad luck on the track
and mechanical problems. He will be back. I look for him to be top 5 tomorrow. |
Nascar fan here! And yes, I am a Gordon fan. And yes, I am happy Junior
is joining the Hendrick stable next year. And yes, I can't stand the Busch brothers. Hmmm...anything else? ;-) |
Celtic...great to see that you are a Nascar fan! I am originally from PA
also. Welcome to the thread. |
Thanks! Its good to be here.
The Busch brothers are just plain weird...lol. The y think they rule the
world!! |
Welcome Celtic............I also can't stand the Busch sisters!!
What a Busch race! Hamlin could not find a parking spot for his
helecopter and was late for the start. Almirola started the race for him and Hamlin jumped in and replaced him after 24 laps. This put him a lap down and he had to fight through it all and won the darn race!! Almirola gets the credit for the win though since he started the race. |
^wow you dont hear that everyday.
so i wonder what the fine is gonna be for Gordon and Johnson's teams little "issue". im guessing 100 points and some mad money fines. wont effect Gordon's points position (i hope) but i dunno about Johnson. |
Hi Cricket!'
It looks like they are going to slap some more fines on but Hendricks is going to appeal it as soon as he finds out what the fines are. The fender was out so little that a 9 inch by 9 inch patch fixed the problem on top of the fenders. The fender actually fit the template but Nascar didn't like it! The are arguing that if they were trying to cheat they wouldn't do it right on top where anyone could see it!! |
so true...but how often does a team win an appeal against nascar?
NASCAR does not allow appeals to win very often because it makes them
look bad. They are a tough bunch that are trying to make it fair for everyone. That little bit of difference in the fender design could have mean't extra downforce on the front end which would allow a Hendricks car to go quicker through the turns. It does not take much of a change to completely change the outcome of a race. |

UUUUGH!!!! I cant stand Juan Montoya either!!!
I don't like Montoya either. He won the mileage game today. I'm getting
tired of gas mileage winning races. That sucks. Are we racing or on a budget going to Disney World?? Anyway...here are the results of the race. Greetings all you Nascar fans!! I happen to be a huge Dale Jr. fan here!
Not a Gordon or Johnson fan...but I'm thrilled Jr's going to be racing with Hendrick next year...great move on his part!! DEI isn't giving him the equipment he needs to win races...although..he has made quite an improvement since the suspension of Tony Jr..just hope he continues to do well when he returns!! ...and since Hendrick is the hottest team around..I'm so looking forward to Jr. giving Gordon and Johnson a run for the money in '08!! |
I am not to happy with montoya winning this race I was so
disappointed.......I am Gordan fan |
Hey Debbiejo!
I am right there with everything you said. It should be interesting next year for sure. It will be an internal battle at Hendricks and I hope Junior gets a good ride in there so he can get his championship that he is wanting soooo badly!! |
It will be a good year I am sure
