If you had to give one or the other up, which would you choose?

What's this TV you speak of? Oh, I think it's where I display my plants. I could always use a table for that, I guess.

Well lets put it this way. Cable TV is starting to be viewed as a luxury and without cable here you got nothing.

except for the occassional movie rented I don't have much use for a tv, but lord help you if you took my books away

I've easily let the TV go in my life...books can be read by candle light in case of a power shortage...but would I have to give up the Net as well?
