I tell my daughter all the time that anyone can sit down and watch a fantasy, but those who can read a book and "see" it in their head have the advantage, because they'll never be bored. Imagination trumps canned entertainment any day of the week.

I would stick with my books. The TV is mostly on just for background noise anyway.
