Topic: revolver or pistol? | |

A revolver is a pistol. But if push comes to shove I'd opt for a single action auto That's the main reason some people shouldn't own guns. They don't know anything about them and people end up getting hurt. All handguns are pistols. |

I have a glock but for some reason the next gun i get i want it to be a revolver just not sure what caliber the colt diamondback looks cool though but i was thinking a smith/wesson double action but i am not sure if those come in 38 cal. Get a S/W in 357 magnum and you can shoot 38 specials through it. |

Naw....I am a rifle or shotgun kind of guy...my arms are too long to hold a tight grouping at even short range with any pistol.
But, even free standing I can maintain a tight pattern at 400 yards pretty easily shooting .308 or .762 But, for strict practicality...I am all about the shotgun. (Sure, 1 oz Magnum slugs are impressive...and kick like a mule)...But, the fact that you don't actually need to aim much helps alot. |

Since you did not specify... Offense or Defense... N/A *1911-A1 Colt... Standard Issue... good choice but hard to handle Good for Steve but have you ever tried carrying around much less tried to conceal a loaded 45? |

I think i would go with a revolver what about you? Don't you mean revolver or semi-automatic? After all, a revolver IS a pistol, you know? Anywhoo- I'm much more a semi-automatic kind of fella. I mean... wheel-guns are nice and all, but the semi-autos just get the job done much more efficiently. I like my pump-action shotgun most of all, though. |

One is an automatic and one is a revolver |

Naw Motown...for that..you break out the .54 cal blackpowder rig. You become a human cannon.
Pistol shooting ain't bad...and it definitely gets the job done....I simply am no good with pistols. My body is just too long to get the accuracy of something I can cradle close to center mass. |

That is why you get a gun rack and put it in the back window of your vehicle. You can legally carry hunting rifles or shot guns that haven't been sawed off beyond 21". (Actually it is 19" but, I gotta watch out for the cops with the short tape measures.) |
