Rich or poor... How cares. Bottom line... Congress received enough phone calls, emails, letters and angry comments that they KNEW americans by a vast majority DID NOT WANT ANY OF PART OF THE BAILOUT... (By some estimates 90% said no. Even the lowest estimates placed the number above 70%) That is what the tea parties should be all about. Congress choose to ignore The voice of all of us and do what they wanted to do. That ammounts to NO REAL representation. which is part of the reason we exist as a nation... So put aside that partisian nonsense and lets get real. As long as we can be forced to argue bout 'whos at fault.. ' We will miss the bigger picture... Which is IF WE DON'T DO SOMETHING ABOUT ALL OF THEM - we won't have a voice in our government. It is time to cull the congress and senate and remove anyone not providing the US Citizen with the representation that is expected by all of us. Problem is... I can only work on it from my state... Yet we got states that continue to send rabid theives (even in the face of common sense and reason). What good is a tea party... If you ain't willing to back it up with a vote when the time comes. What good is the vote, though, when the choices is who runs and who they give us to vote for?? They keep it so they do not have to focus on change. Raising one voice to contest what they do is as important if not more so than voting at this point. |

THE POINT IS....we have a right to meet, protest, discuss whatever if we disagree with the taxes nope....and they can't....just remarking at the arguments in here |

THE POINT IS....we have a right to meet, protest, discuss whatever if we disagree with the taxes I would reexamine thinking we have the right to meet and protest. Remember what happened in Seattle when folks gathered to protest at the World Trade Center? According to The Patriot Act, if the Feds determine a gathering or protest is deemed Anti- Government, they can take whatever action they deem necessary to squelch the movement. |

All of government is out of touch. The bi-partisan fight is the means to keeping the public confused.

I really don't like the term, Libtards. That is similar to retarded and there are people on here that have special needs children. |

Someone tell me the last time either of the so called ethics committees ever did anything to one of their fellow members besides a slap on the wrist. Its a joke. Until their is an independent commission to oversea what the hell goes on in congress, its never going to change. NEVER...
