I won't sign it because first they want your information, then they want your email address then they want to ask you to volunteer. It reminds me of a cult recruiting members for the all mighty guru Obama.

I just don't like giving out my personal information.

The reason they are doing it is because Obama is going to do a lot of things against the status quo and he wants to show the "people in Washington" that he has the support of the people. In other words, he wants to overthrow the status quo and gain more power than he currently has as president.

Obama wanted all Americans to pledge to do some kind of volunteer work for the country if they were able. If you don't sign up so what. Only those who are really interested in making this country a better place need apply.

now we have to sign up to do volunteer work with the government???? i help out at homeless shelters on my own. i don't need to sign up for that. I volunteer and have for a long time with siging up with the government and I have contributed to the people of the country on my own.
