Is English everyone's "first language" here? Just curious! yea, for i wasent brought up to speak spanish for my dad didnt want us to learn it... my moms parents were from mexcio and my mom and my uncles and aunts were born in the states.. my dad is french canadain and he is preguisit.. it didnt make any sense my parents were married for 21yrs and why did he marry my mom in the first place if he was pregudist. my sisters, daughter and my grandkids are learning it now... i used to date this guy that was mexcian. his mom spoke very little english and he was trying to force me to learn to speak spanish

It just makes me sad because I think it says something about how well our education system works. Perhaps not. If it is, indeed, just idle conversation to be had here, then oh well and I'll let it go. I just correct for sick entertainment, for the reaction (like the one you just offered). You are right that I should quell those sadistic, attention-seeking tendencies, I suppose. I suppose. As far as making millions from excelling in written language: Many, many people have and will continue to; go look at your local library, filled with books from brilliantly and creatively literate people, if you don't believe me--not that literature should be about making money. This "superiority complex" is just a farce, equally as much as the "raccoon complex." All of this is just entertainment to me. I'm sorry, okay?
