Just had my first schmuck! All bcause I have no pic. There's a reason. It will b up soon. You'd think I had leprosy or somthing. Why can't people talk to my personality for a few days. And if I weren't the prettiest on on ongirlmingle would u not b my friend at least??????

Friends r good.. some and most people like to see who they r talking to. Dont judge them without knowing that person. Maybe they feel that.. u have something to hide?

There are dullards and cretins on every site -- don't let them ruin it for you (and the rest of us) by letting them get to you.

I've been on a lot of sites, and this is the best of them all. I wouldn't still be here otherwise.

And yes, the idiots grow tiresome at times. But that just goes with the territory. Over time, you learn who's who, and who's worth dealing with.

I do gotta say...when I had no photo posted....no one single solitary woman would respond to me in any way. So, the picture thing is gonna have something to do with your responses. (Not all guys are that way but, the majority are)

But, chin up girl! Just means you have shed off the first of a loooong line of shallow ones.

I dated a bubble head. He didn't provide a photo until the day before we agreed to meet. So not EVERYONE is about the looks. And, I have a couple of friends on here who have pics of scenery or personality stuff only. No big deal to me.
But, when some don't have a photo and just email out of the blue, I tend to be somewhat suspicious, wonder if they are hiding. Some say they'll give a photo on request. Well, I'm not up to emailing offsite with strangers.
So, a bubble head doesn't make me not respond, but it can make me wary.
Being that you are NEW, I wouldn't think twice about you having a pic. Those things can take time and NOT EVERYBODY has access to an online photo of themselves. And SOME people use FAKE photos, anyway!!

I think it's important to let our new members know that we're not ALL schmucks -- that there are a hell of a lot of great people here -- and to reinforce the idea that those of us who have been here for awhile, and who have SUFFERED by being tarred with the long, broad brush being directed at the schmucks, are just as tired of them as everyone else is.

having NO pic can be the kiss of death on this site,for the simple reason that some people (men and women) are shallow impress them with your writing and you will get plenty of attention,trust me...i am living proof be seeing you

For me, no pic simply means that...no posted pic. It can be refreshing, and really make you look at what is being said, as opposed to trying to look in to someone's eyes.......!
