Believe me...the one time I did go to slow down on my smoking and drinking...my own family encouraged me to keep smoking cause I had the sense of humor of a rattlesnake with hemmoroids. I got no intentions of stopping.

I would consider growing my own but, the climate and soil compositions out here are just too harsh. If I could smoke cactus and sage brush I would be fine!

It is only funny until some A-hole actually DOES try to tax it...and at this point...I would hardly be suprized. I am gonna be sad when I got an odometer hooked up to my right hand.



Ironically, I don't mind paying top dollar for a good cigar to savor with my Brandy....I don't mind paying a reasonable tax.....

It is just that at this point it is getting ludicrous.

Invest in a hydroponic garden or greenhouse or grow it in your basement under plant lights.

You will really appreciate each and every cigarette if you have to go through all that.

Depending on the brand; here at least one can buy them from 1.65 to 5.65. I pay 3.19 to 3.59 depending on where I go for the same cigs.

I don't really give a crap if they tax them or not. I want to quit. I hate them damn things. I hate the way they make you smell, look, and the coughing...oh my gosh. It is just an ugly habit.

Some surgeries will not happen if you smoke. They don't want to do heart surgery on a smoker, or kidney, nor face surgeries.

When I was locked up, we smoked roll your owns...talk about stain your teeth...geeze...it was aweful.

We have the Indian smoke shops here as well, they have all risen on their prices. Not so cheap anymore.

I suppose it could be done...but if I am gonna install a hydroponics grow system..(got access to the mobile track lighting and automated irrigation)...I would grow something more profitable than tobacco.

Believe it or not, black market tobacco could be more profitable than dope. I'm not sure about that but...at least its not illegal to grow for your own use.... yet.

My father had tried several times to quit when I was a child. He eventually succeeded. My mom would call him "Hitler" because he was so crabby. He even stayed at a motel for several days so we wouldn't have to deal with him one time.

I would like to see everyone quit and watch the tobacco industry fall on its face and the government loose tons of tax dollars. But that ain't gonna happen any time soon.

The tobacco tax is so they can fund their SCHIP program.

They have decided that smokers should pay for illegal alien childrens healthcare.

Im glad they are going to lift the travel restrictions on Cuba. I can fly to Havana and buy their cigars for much less than I can buy the imitation ones here.
