Yep... My dear Babchi. I got a babchi of me own who likes to go to bingo on Saturdays... And I have the pleasure of accompanying her every Saturday afternoon. And afterwards, we stop at Marie Calendars and have ourselves some coffee and pie!

Email is probably the most difficult form of communication as so much is lost without tone of voice and body language. I think it takes a lot longer to get to know someone's personality online than it does IRL.

What you read is what you get. I am cantankerous, righteous, frivolous, expansive, silly, joyful, and a gazzillion other adjectives.... However.... this medium can be deceptive.... even cam, and phone give only a part of the picture... I have found some people are not who they say they are.... and who they wish they were, is who they portray themselves to be online.. However, even in this medium, people's trigger points, and basic behaviouors are fairly prominant....if one is astute enough to observe.

I understand, one may get an idea about a person online, depending on what he/she talks. But what about the body language?? How important you think it is ? and may be the body language is the most important thing because sometimes, its not important what is said but how it is said..??? There are some people who seem to be very capable of relaying body language via their words. I guess it's an inherent, or learned, talent, but I've seen it in a select few. I can't judge everyone based on what they post, but if I picked out my 1/2 dozen or so very favourite people, I'd be able to say that they are exactly in real life as they present themselves in the forums, and I've read them that way from the very beginning.
