Both parents are still alive & married to each other. I'd say I'm close to them both equally. There are things I talk to my mom about & things I talk to my dad about. I think they both enjoy helping their "little girl" when they can (especially since I don't have a guy around to do things).

Mine both died years ago. I was definitely closer to my mom though, I miss her every day.

Was always closer to my Dad until in my teens, something happened and I lost all respect for both parents.. Always loved them though and took care of her and was with her when she passed away.

Deadbeat alcoholic dad, not a dime of child support, didnt actually meet him or talk to him until I was 17, which just showed me how much of a loser he was from my own eyes.
