I would just like to warn all women on this site to be very careful in what you disclose to other people while talking to someone online. You do not know who they are. I am not talking about people here on this site, but you should still be careful. I have just gone through, on another site, something I wish to warn others about. I was involved in an internet love scam. When someone sounds to good to be true, believe me, they are. These people are really good in what they do, and the end result is that they are trying to get money from you. No, I did not send any money, and consider myself fortunate. But there are many stories out there about less unfortunate women. Please do not fall for these guys who profess their love for you so quickly. Check them out...if you do not know how, learn. It is for your own safety and financial security. If you would like to know more, just ask me. I am one of the lucky ones who got away!

Sure! Valerie may look like a 50 year old divorced housewife from omaha nebraska......but in reality she is an undercover KGB special agent infiltrating the neighbor ladies cookie recipes.

Ripoff artists don't consist exclusively of males. There are plenty of the female variety, also.

a couple of years ago i had someone try to scam me. "she" found me through a u.s. dating site and after talking to her, i found out she was in russia. i kept talking to her and eventually it got to the "send me some money so i can come and see you" stage. that's where i drew the line and said "see ya."

Extreme caution should be used when communicating with anyone online, especially with regard to online dating sites. You should never give out any personal information including social security numbers, credit card numbers, or other information linked to your money.

We DO live in the age of identity theft, you know?
