My picture is like a year old...only change is I have a goatee now. I've also grown two large horns that protrude out of my skull, and a tail. 
Don't put them up as often as I used too, but when I meet people I make sure I look as close as possible to my picture...so I put them up, which is difficult with the horns... |

Don't worry, they are tame lil muppets. You will get stabbed in the cheek before they go for your eye, plenty of time to dodge them before they try it.

You will learn... there are certain key words that I have come across , that are "RED FLAGS'...As some have said all you can do is be honest and post pictures that are reasonably current. Less then a year old? And truly have in your profile what it is exactly what your looking for. Trust me it does work....
After that verify, verify, verify.. what they have said or posted.. several conversations asking the same question a different way... and when you begin to doubt try web cam? <------mar 08 |

I am tired of going on dates that the person doesnt even come close to looking like their picture(30lbs over wieght and they check the thin box)...Do you think we are really that stupid and wont notice,you are trying to start a relationship and you are bs ing people before you even meet them(great start for you) If nothing else, it's all a matter of honesty- if you're going to be honest with yourself enough to post a REAL picture, then shouldn't it be logical that others do the same? You're only fooling yourself otherwise. |

I look just like my pic.
I do have actual pics of myself on my profile and they are all within the past year at the oldest and I will update them soon. I agree though that one can pick up subtle hints about the honesty of some peoples profile/pics. I try to be honest in every aspect of my profile and I believe an intentionally misleading pic is a sign of dishonesty.

Occasionally someone will approach me and ask if I am "AllSmilesInTulsa"... so I think that says I look like my pictures! |

Webcams are probably the ideal so you can see the person live or in real time but its only fair that if you ask for that, you should be able to offer it in return. Also, people should have several clear headshots on their profiles. My personal feeling is you can’t expect whoever you are communicating with to have more than what you have. Isn’t that fair?
