Yes when you see the feelings are not mutual it's better to say nothing and keep the friendship.

I believe that you should tell someone if you truly love them. Better to let them know how you feel than regret not telling them down the road.

However, timing is important. Often one persons feelings may be a little bit ahead of what the other is feeling. Then there are those that will run away as Cristina mentioned. If you waited for the right time and they still run away....then this person was wasting your time.

I say I love you to many friends and all my family.
And find it difficult to separate the values or placement of,,,love. Strong feelings for another is LOVE,,but in relationships I have said and felt LOVE for them..But
Through this I have been told that there is a IN-LOVE,,and just A-LOVE separation in their minds as to how they feel or think about that.
To me if you feel A-LOVE for them,,then its LOVE for them,,end of story. I don't break-down its amount for one or the other as to FEELING them in my heart, soul and mind..
