Don't worry, you will remain completely annonymous..ehh, well, sort of. This is random stuff thread, I will post my random thoughts here...feel free to join in.
What would happen if scientists were able to splice the genes of an apple and a Hyena? Just thought of this a minute ago when I randomly jotted something down for the reason of clogging a useless thread...I think we could quite possibly come out with the first ever laughing apple...interesting... |

I got laughed for my cat and dog combination theory. i think its impossible..btw One fine day with a woof and a purr A baby was born and it caused a little stir No blue buzzard, no three-eyed frog Just a feline canine little CatDog. CatDog, CatDog, alone in the world is a little CatDog! Out on the road or back in town All kinda critters putting CatDog down Gotta rise above it gotta try to get along Gotta walk together gotta sing this song. CatDog, CatDog, alone in the world is a little CatDog! CatDog (CatDog) CatDog (CatDog) Alone in the world is a little CatDog! |

Seriously...this has been done and is currently being implemented.
Scientists have genetically manipulated spider dna with goats so that the milk of the goat contains the same substance as spiderwebs (which for it's weight is stronger than steel)...when thin strands of milk are drawn up to contact oxygen it produces spider silk. To then be woven into supple and light bullet proof fabric and incredibly strong rope. By thier estimates...they will be able to supply global demand for bullet proof cloth from a herd of 66 goats.....(Popular Science article from a couple of years back) Crazy sh*t from really smart people...the cat/dog thing ain't so far fetched. |
