Good evening everyone. It is a balmy 67F here. No snow in sight, but I can splash in puddle for ya. your mean Your right, that was a mean thing to say. warm weather huh Uh, sorry. If it is any consolation, it will be in the 20's this weekend?? Does that make it better?? only if you get 2-3 feet of snow with it

Flame I heard something so sad on the news tonight. A 93 year old man was found frozen to death in his home in Michigan .The hydro co.turned off his power cause he fell behind in his bill. Flame I heard something so sad on the news tonight. A 93 year old man was found frozen to death in his home in Michigan .The hydro co.turned off his power cause he fell behind in his bill. Did you hear about that? thats SAD, I hope the pres. of the power company sleeps well I find that really mind boggling. When it gets below 30 here, with all our homeless, we open Churches and run down with extra blankets. Oh, that just breaks my heart.

Here I am pretty sure it is against the law for the gas or hydro co. to disconnect service in the winter mos.

Did you hear about that? Not yet it will be on the 10 oclock new tonight I will catch it then. They don't care up here if you don't pay you loose it. They only care about money up here and its sad to say its that way.

Here I am pretty sure it is against the law for the gas or hydro co. to disconnect service in the winter mos. It's suppose to be, but up here they don't really seem to care. They turned off the electricity in a apartment building where seniors live because the owner hadn't paid the bill. Channel 2 got it turned back on for the people.

wow. That is something that needs to be changed. How long do they give you before they terminate the service? If you don't pay then they send you a shut off notice giving you 16 days to pay it or it will be shut off.

wow. That is something that needs to be changed. How long do they give you before they terminate the service? Some of the company up here let it go till you miss the second month. But the other just don't care.

OMG I'm still grading these exams. I"m into the clueless pile at the moment. I need to find a good exam soon or i'm going to pull my hair out. These things take way to long to grade. I feel like i'm punishing myself for giving this exam.

Last winter I had huge heating bill. I could not pay it all I at once .I called the gas company and they said pay anything I could and they would give me an extension before they charged interest. But never did they threaten to cut me off. They are pretty good at helping you out.

Thats so awful. It makes us sound like some 3rd world country. I read that Michigan is hard hit in the economy and unemployment is high, but there should be some sources. People who need prescription medicine and can't afford it can get lots of help. No one should have to freeze to death!
