6 months sounds about right. I lost most of mine because I breastfed and walked all the time.

so..does your answer change at all if it was a c-section as opposed to...standard delivery? Mine was a C-section. And this one will be as well. The weight will be harder to lose this time around because I'm older, but I'm gonna give it my best shot! |

since we all like the weight threads....how long post pregnancy should it take for a woman to get back to her "pre-baby self"? with thrice-weekly jazzercise and a job at the packaging line in a factory...1 year. After all, those first 6-9 months are reserved for mom/baby, without the rush to get back to the rest of life as usual. |

Heh. My daughter's mom actually LOST weight while she was pregnant.
Her doctor was constantly quacking at her about it. Before she got pregnant, she weighed around 220. By the time Danielle was born, her mom was 180. |
