Topic: BETTER OFF?? | |
---|---|
are you better off in life before OR after george bush became
president?? |
Im tons better since clinton left, george is awesome, economy is strong,
setting records with the dow everyday now, gas prices are sucking, but i figure that cant last. taxes are lower than theyve been in 18 years, more money in my pocket. we're going in the right direction for a change, theres a lot going on the the world of international politics but honestly it doesnt make a hill of beans what any of us have to say about that topic, just cant deal with some people, and quite honestly dont want to. and for that im what, an arrogant azz from the states, yeah i can live with that. doc |

lmao!!...ya got 2 be drunk????

gas prices are not going to get better.
Law of supply and demand. The demand has outstripped the FINITE source of supply. AT least I don't have to be jelouse of this pres. This one either is better at hiding his indiscretions or just don't get BJ's. If I am better off at any particular time in my life it is because of something I do not some idiot that sits at the top of the visible pyrimid. |
well i was better off b4 bush
but he has nothing to do with it |
im not drunk, and if you dont want to have a serious discussion about
this topic why did you post it. i take it from your insult that your not a happy democrat. well thats okay- you can be insulting if it makes you feel better. but the facts are undenyable, not matter how you want to spin them, dont believe then do your own research and quit being a talking head for a party that doesnt care about you anymore, oh wait- are you a "victim"? no- then yeah they dont care about you. seeya doc |

Gotta say, not better off with Bush than Clinton, or vice verse...
I'm not particularly impressed with the Bush admin. This admin is a bit naive when it comes to foreign policy. (Not that Clinton was much better... naivety seems to be endemic in American politics.) |
Gas prices are high because demand has outpaced PRODUCTION (pumping,
refining, transport, etc.) not supply... Yes its a finite resource, but its not a scarce resource. So I agree with armydoc... current gas prices are temporary, unless a bunch of politicos decide to apply a higher tax. |

Before Bush I was proud to say that I’m an American.
After Bush I’m ashamed to admit that I’m an American. |
ddefinately not better off with bush my brother has done two tours in
iraq troops shouldnt still be there they dont want us there or our help |
well a new refinery or two would help
but no one wants them around them hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm |
actually after, but it doesnt have anythign to do with george bush, i
can tell you that for sure, lol |
4fun06 i agree with you not only drunk but been living in a cave the
past 6 years. |

Well, cutting Bush the break that he wasn't responsible for 9/11....
we're better off. I can't say that the country's in a better position in the world. But the problems aren't Bush's fault (entirely). If Clinton hadn't so painfully crippled the military before leaving office, it'd be a lot better. |

Before. Before Bush I had a good job.
I got laid off and it took me a long time to get another permanent job. I just got one after 4 years of consulting hell. I had to compete with more foreign workers, which, of course, big business and the Bushies just love! And offshoring jobs. Bush Jr. is the worst president in history! |
Poet n Artist,
Bush may not have been responsible for 9/11, but he most certainly is responsible for his decision to invade Iraq which had absolutely nothing at all to do with 9/11. I agree that Clinton wasn’t a great president either, but at least he didn’t want to declare war with the whole world including our allies! |

do the math.
When you remove a resource from a well it will eventually run dry. Production is becoming more expensive because we are past peak. Way past. In 1953 a report was done for the executive brance of the us government. It predicted the depletion of all accessible oil sources by 2035 at the current (1953) usage levels. The world has gone way past those usage levels and then some. If you are interested in reading this report you MIGHT find it online. If you can't it is in old 8th grade science books in the appendix. I read it when I was in school. When you drink a soda with a straw what happens when you hit the bottom of the cup. Welcome to the real world. |

bush jr bush sr. and ragin are the 3 worst presidents we've ever hade
thay ruined our our economy our unions and our reputation |
if you check
i think you will find a lack of refinery capability is the main problem not lack of supply |

Regan was one of the best presidents this county has had in a long time.
some of what he did for us will not come to light for many years. If we quit electing bozos who would you have to b***h about? |
